ACRA National Championship Regatta

“Clarkson wins the men's 1x heat in 7:53.6, with Kansas second at +0:15.6 and UC Irvine third at +0:41.3. The field spreads across the second half, with Nebraska Lincoln fourth in 8:44.2, University of Connecticut fifth in 8:49.8, and North Georgia rounding out the heat in 9:10.6.”

“Virginia RA wins the men's novice eight heat in 6:30.2, with Washington State - Men finishing second in 6:33.3, just 0:03.1 back. UC Irvine takes third in 6:48.2, 0:18.0 behind the winner. Delaware - Men places fourth in 6:53.1, followed by University of Cincinnati in 7:05.0 and University of Connecticut in 7:40.8. The top two boats finish tight across the line, while the field stretches out beyond third place.”

“Bucknell takes the lightweight varsity coxed four in 7:22.0, winning by 0:10.1 over University of Connecticut. Clemson finishes third in 7:37.2, a further 0:15.3 back. Michigan State Club places fourth at 7:43.8, followed by UGA in 7:47.7 and Arizona State in 7:48.0. Bowdoin rounds out the field in 7:48.0. All seven boats crossed the line in Heat 1 of the ACRA National Championship Regatta at Melton Lake.”

“Bucknell's varsity eight wins Heat 2 of the men's varsity eight in 6:19.4, taking the heat by +0:04.9 over Minnesota - Men. Michigan RA finishes third in 6:30.8, with UC Santa Barbara fourth at +0:13.8 and Northwestern fifth at +0:25.9. University of Connecticut rounds out the field in 6:45.2, more than a minute back. The top three boats finish tightly bunched, with less than six seconds separating the winner from third place.”

“Boston College wins the Mens Varsity 8+ DE Semifinal 2 in 6:35.7, edging West Point by 0:02.3 in a sprint to the line. Florida and University of New Hampshire tie for third, each crossing at 6:52.5 and trailing the winner by 0:16.7 and 0:16.8 respectively. University of Connecticut finishes fifth in 7:07.9, with Penn State rounding out the field in 7:22.9.”

“University of Connecticut wins the men's 1x D final in 8:42.7, taking the title by 0:13.8 over Washington State. Lafayette finishes third at 0:27.9 back. Arizona State places fourth in 9:32.1, while Vanderbilt rounds out the field in 13:06.2. Sewanee did not start.”

“Delaware - Men takes the Mens Novice 8+ C Final in 6:35.3, with UGA second at +0:03.5 and URI third at +0:15.4 back. The top two crews finish in a sprint to the line, while the top three remain tightly bunched within 3.0 seconds of the winner. University of Cincinnati finishes fourth in 6:56.7, followed by Michigan State Club in 7:10.4 and University of Connecticut in 7:19.5.”

“Fordham takes the lightweight varsity coxed four in 7:02.2 at ACRA Nationals. Bucknell finishes second in 7:06.6, trailing by 0:04.3, with Vermont third at 7:13.3, a further 0:11.0 back. Michigan RA and Clemson round out the top five, followed by University of Connecticut in sixth place. The race saw separation through the field, with Fordham establishing clear water over the competition to claim the grand final.”

“University of New Hampshire wins the Mens Varsity 8+ E Final in 6:39.7, edging Virginia Tech by 0:01.3 in a close finish. UMass takes third at 6:48.5, 0:08.8 back from the winner. University of Connecticut finishes fourth in 6:55.0, with Penn State rounding out the field at 7:05.3.”
