MPSRA Spring Championship

“Cambridge Rindge & Latin takes the boys 1st varsity 4+ time trial in 5:18.5, finishing 0:07.5 ahead of Arlington Belmont. Bromfield Acton Boxborough rounds out the top three in 5:28.4. The top of the field tightens through fourth place, with Wayland-Weston posting 5:29.4 and Medford 5:33.8. Shrewsbury HS finishes sixth at 5:35.6. Boston Latin and Haverhill High School follow in the 6:01 range, with Lowell, Somerville, Cape Cod Community, and East Bay, Inc rounding out the field.”

The top three crews finish tightly bunched. Wayland-Weston places fourth in 5:48.3, followed by Haverhill High School and Lowell with a significant gap to the lead pack. Malden finishes seventh in 6:44.6, and East Bay, Inc rounds out the field in 6:56.3. Medford did not finish.”

“Bromfield Acton Boxborough takes the Girls 2x Final A in 6:54.7, with Medford second at +0:18.7 and Haverhill High School third at +0:28.3 from the winner. Lowell finishes fourth in 7:35.1, followed by a second Bromfield Acton Boxborough entry in fifth at +0:58.9. East Bay, Inc rounds out the field in 7:53.6, more than two minutes behind the winner.”

The top three crews finished within 21 seconds, with Haverhill establishing a clear margin over the remainder of the field. Somerville took fourth in 6:45.9, and East Bay rounded out the five-boat final in 6:54.8.”
